What Customers Say About MOTOROLA H500 Black Bluetooth headset:

I can't even rate him on the product because I haven't even recieved the item that I ordered from him in the middle of April. I don't know what the hold up is but I sent whomever a email and I still haven't heard back from them either. Customer Service with these individuals isn't really up there for me.

The battery was charged in under 2 hours, and can be on standby and make about an hour's worth of total calls and still live 14+ hours. The only complaint is that when people are talking to me while I'm on the phone (the mistake many people make considering it's hard to tell when you're talking into a Bluetooth), the caller on the other end can hear their speech as clearly as mine. The speaker piece is raised above the surface of the headset and sets into your ear, but not into the ear canal. While it's not as stylish or slim as some of the higher end models out today (this is one of Motorola's older models), it definitely still holds grounds in the physical appeal category. I can walk almost throughout my house with my phone in one room and still have exceptional quality.

Figuring out how the head piece fit into my ear was a little tricky at first, but something I adapted to quickly. The guide that comes with the headset explains everything there is to know, and is pretty easy to follow. Don't let pictures fool you; it's smaller than it appears. Overall though, I've gotten comments regarding that the other person notices the increase in call quality on my end. Quickly upon charging it with the same charger I use for my phone (miniUSB, which is quite convenient), I synced up the headset with no problems at all.

The headset does a good job at canceling out background noise, but anything within a 5 foot radius is still going to be picked up. It's obvious when quality starts to go out though; static, emptiness, and a robotic call quality show up and then persist until you move. The only problem I've truly had with this headset is my end of the call. It also was slightly more amplified, which is a nice feature to have. Think about the size of a thumb drive (more curvy obviously) or about the size of a pink eraser.

The edges are rubberized to ensure it doesn't come loose, and the headset has to be at a certain angle to take advantage of this. TMobile G1) platform yet. Despite seller problems, I received the product and was excited to tear open the box. Call quality is exceptional in quiet and medium sound level environments but, as many have reported before, it becomes harder to hear EITHER end of the call in louder environments. Keep in mind that, with any phone, it gets harder to hear anyways. Windy conditions, like what I just got home from, also significantly kill anyone trying to hear my end of the conversation. After syncing, I gave it a test drive by calling my voice mail. It's expected to be seen soon, but I can't vouch for voice dialing.Overall, for the $20 I spent on this headset, it was well worth it; for something so affordable it definitely exceeds my expectations.

The headset looks sleek and well polished. I knocked off one star for conditions that can significantly decrease call quality and my lack of voice-dialing, but in reality, neither of these are really something I feel as a flaw in the product. Strangely, I find that it fits much better in my left ear than my right, but luckily the headset adapts to either ear. The call quality from the other end was either the same or slightly better than what I expect from my phone itself. Speech is crystal clear (so I've been told) and even better than my handset. The only other downer is that voice dialing isn't supported on the Android (i.e. So if you want an affordable, well working, well designed, functioning effectively product, the Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset is for you.

It works great. I really like this headset. I use it for my phone and ps3. I love it. I haven't had a problem with anything.

Functions OK. Worked fine w/moto razor; sync'ed up with my new blackberry no problem. As it is, the button is easily engaged unintentionally.

It is older technology. And you are left wondering why your phone says connected but you can't hear anyone.Good price here, much less than I paid years ago. Not great, OK.

Even in the moto belt clip case specifically designed for this hardware, it accidentally activates. Biggest flaw, imo, is poorly designed main control button. If it was recessed, it might be OK.

Decent value. If you keep it somewhere - when it is not on your head - where it will not activate spontaneously it should get the job done.

Ok, so I have had several nice Bluetooth headsets in the past, I'm a heavy user and needed a spare so I picked up this one because I couldn't pass up on the cost savings, and the other reviews for this product were decent. After 2 weeks all I can say is, if you are looking for a good bluetooth, pass this up and shell out the $40 or more dollars to get a better one.Cons: - Several times my connection has dropped mid-call.for no reason (about 5 times over 2000 minutes of use). - Should you ever drop that call.there is no way for you to reconnect without hanging up on the call, and dialing that person/conference back.- You can NOT have the volume turned all the way up (which is sometimes necessary to hear properly, i.e. conference calls) the other person will get their own feedback.Pros: - Price- It does work and call quality is clear.- Its still better than using wired headphones, when it works.
